Introduction

ADASCO, established in the  Sultanate of  Oman  in  2002, is a member of Al Arkan Holding Oman. Its raison d’etre is to offer the highest quality products and solutions to private, industrial and government organizations.

ADASCO’s diversified range includes supply of INDUSTRIAL ROCKS & MINERALS – non-metallic and metallic, ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION SOLUTIONS – hybrid power systems, Solar, batteries, battery cabinets, WASTEWATER TREATMENT SOLUTIONS – extended aeration, MBR, MBBR, packaged STP’s, grit removal, odour control systems and membrane systems, STRUCTURAL STEEL – for oil & gas, petrochemical, power, telecom, desalination, industrial including cement plants, mining, defense, building and infrastructure sectors.

Sheikh Salim is a pioneering businessman who plays an active role in various public and private business ventures. He is the Chairman of Kunooz Oman Holding, a multi-faceted mining, construction materials and logistics group.

Adding to his legacy of contributions to the business and education community in Oman, Sheikh Salim has been the Chairman of Oman Oil Marketing (BP Oman), Vice Chairman of Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company, and on the board of the Central Bank of Oman, Capital Market Authority and Sultan Qaboos University. He was also a Shura Council Member.

He was awarded the Oman Businessman of the year in October 2016 for his excellent overall business achievement and contribution to the Sultanate’s economy.

Director

Educated in India (Bachelors) and England (Professional), Imtiaz trained in the mid-70’s at Reyrolle Switchgear, England (now a Siemens company).

In a career spanning 35 years in Oman, Imtiaz was involved in landmark projects covering 11kV & 33kV substations, power & distribution transformers, packaged substations, LV/HV cables, fire protection/fighting solutions, industrial gas systems, telecom-related infrastructure and 2G/3G/4G LTE and microwave network implementation.
